Constellation Double Eagle

[Major Fallout]

What's the double eagle mean?

[MitchT]

Omega have had along relationship with golf. A 'double eagle' is a score three-under-par on a single hole also known as an 'albatross', hence the name. I'm a big fan of the Constellation models.

Thank you! I had a bit of a google and couldn't find anything.

I didn't think about golf, was was going down the space direction because of the Omega space connection.

I bought one as my first proper automatic watch in the 90s, it was comfortable and had a see through back which was pretty cool then
