Hi, can someone explain the Insurance categorys, i.e when a vehicle is involved in an accident an insuance company will send an inspector along who will then logg it as a cat 1 etc, can anyone explain the details of these category? thanks in advance.

I think that the catagories are now Cat A, Cat B, Cat C, and Cat D, Cat A being the worst, car not allowed on the road ever again, must be crushed, Cat B servely damaged has to be checked by the DVLA/Police when repaired to make sure road worthy, Cat C minor panal damage etc, can be repaired without check, and Cat D is normally things like vandal damage, S/R, stolen wheels etc, no chassis damage.
Could be wrong though!!!
