I've been lusting after a Glashutte Panomatic Inverse XL for some time and at the worst possible moment, what with having to replace the clutch release bearing on my Audi Elise S1 (engine/gearbox out!), I have been offered one second hand. It's not common for said watch to be available second hand, which is why I'm hesitant to immediately turn the deal down. That said, no price has been mentioned yet!

It's the slightly older variant with the thicker bezel, rather than the newer, thinner bezel type. The latter retails in Harrods for around £8600. If you know where to look, you can get the same watch brand new for £6500. What would be a realistic figure for a second hand thick bezel piece? I'm pretty sure it's lived in a safe for the majority of it's life! £4K?

4k would be a bargain, so if you are getting that price snap it up!

Can't comment off the top of my head as to the value though I will refer the honorable gentleman to a thread I started some time back which may assist with the justification of purchasing it winkevil
