I decided on buying the Tissot Visodate and went to collect it today.

When the lady bought it out, it just looked so small on my wrist. (39.5mm)

My issue is, every similar watch i've seen is roughly the same size.

I now keep coming back to this Ball Trainmaster Eternity and it's 42mm. Is that really a noticeable difference.

My criteria is;
Brown leather strap/White face
Or Black blue strap with a dark blue face
Simple looking.
Budget, well i'm looking at £1400 for the Ball but was also looking to pay £340 for the Tissot.

This is the Ball...

Visodate case is tapered, so it does wear small. I'll pop a picture up tomorrow of one compared to a 42mm.

Watch sizes have changed quite a lot over the years. Remember those really small watches (22mm) your mum used to wear?. Mum's today are going for the 'unisex' size of 35 to 39mm and men similarly have moved from 35-39 as standard to 40-45. 42-44mm is perfect and the ideal choice, but I can't recommend one model in particular at your price level as that would be far too biased since I make it.

Quick edit: yes 39 to 42mm is very noticeable. Above 45mm also very noticeable and starts verging onto the bling sized

How about a second hand omega railmaster? Might be too costly tho.

Good quality watches them Tissots, really like the Visodates. I would have thought the Visodate would wear quite big due to it being all dial.
