This months competition is Light Painting and Light Trails.

Rules
  1. The photos taken must be your own work
  2. The competition will run from the first to the last day of the month.
  3. The winner from the previous month decides on the topic for following month and judges it at the end of the month
  4. There will be two threads that need starting: The Entries thread to commence same time as Discussion thread. In the Entries thread only one picture should be entered. Any others you wish to discuss should be posted in the Discussion thread.
  5. All entrants acknowledge that they may indeed win and that their adherence to convention ensures everyone else's continued fun.
  6. Photos entered should be no bigger than 750 pixels wide for a landscape photo and 600 pixels high for a portrait photo due to the PH squash factor. Links to larger versions are permissible.

Budget version...£2 light stick from Blackpool.

I love the image because it reminds me of the fun I had with my daughter and her younger cousin creating the light trails and checking the results, learning through trial and error.

Single 30s exposure. I waited for the ride to start its descent before taking the shot.
