How to fill oil?

OK am I missing something? How do you top up oil (t350) without taking the bonnet off! Seems to be a big engine in the way and the bonnet makes it a bit more than awkward - certainly with a standard plastic 5litre can of oil!
Do you decant into a smaller oil can with a spout? am I missing something or pouring oil into my washer bottle? 😀

Hi Ian, hope you are enjoying the T350!

I use a funnel and a plastic pipe, I have heard some that transfer oil into a beer bottle and do 200ml each time they top up!

Thanks Chaz, ahh beer bottle, I like that idea... I was just wondering if there was a trick I was missing. Yep loving the T350, just need to wipe all this oil off my garage floor now and get some sunny weather.

Works a treat from 1l oil bottles/container apart from the fact that the screw top doesnt thread onto those bottles

Filling is easy (funnel with pipe from Halfrauds or smaller pouring can) but checking the level - well that is what you call difficult! - unless you have asbestos hands and forearms

I use a collapse able funnel which can be found on Amazon I have two one for oil and one for water they save space as well
