It is in Lysefjord, Norway and looks like a lot of fun.

The Trollstigen? Yeh, we did it in 2007.

The views are fantastic - but good luck hitting it when there isn't a whole stack of coaches queueing for three-pointers at the hairpins.

You may also find that the Norwegian police are not renowned for their sense of humour.

Wrong road. It's the Lysevegen: much further south near Stavanger.
It has more than twice as many hairpins as the Trollstigen. smile

I haven't done it, but it's on my bucket list. thumbup

If you reach Lysebotn via the Fv500 there are two ways out.
The car ferry down the fjord to Songesand/Forsand/Lauvvik or back the way you came.
What the photo above doesn't show is the Lysevegen also has a tunnel.

Thanks Guys I was just curious, it was a news article that I read that showed me the road and I thought about if you guys had driven it.

So the picture was stolen from the news article.

Looks fun though.

Looks like a lot more fun on a road bike than in a car...

A group of us drove it back in 2014.
We took the car ferry and enjoyed the scenery before the drive up the pass.
Great surface and amazing views, there's a lack of passing places, so luck of the draw if you can beat the others off the Ferry or the tourist coaches.
The roads at the top are just as interesting as they wind their way back to Stavanger.

Also drove the trolls ladder which was more fun and had a fair few places to pass.
