Underseal- Modurstang

Got my underseal done today, was there nearly 7 hours, its am interesting experience seeing all the bits taken off the car, and everything wrapped up, its a Big Job, but the care and the attention given to everything is perfect
very interesting day, also nice to meet Tom, Mike and Lee are the Best, it's not a cheap job, and I suppose a lot of UK Owners feel they should get it for free. But if you want it done with the best stuff and want a Top Job, then for me as it's a brand new car, and will be outdoors 24/7 and I want to keep her for many years it made sense.

Mine hasn't arrived yet, but if you head over to mustang6g.com and look in the UK section the details are there . Underseal is done in zeebruge when the car is brought over. underneath a brand new car to see what's happening.

I fitted a new exhaust yesterday so was under the car.underneath a brand new car to see what's happening.
Basically, the problem with the underseal is that there isn't any.
For some strange reason they underseal the bottom of the exhaust, bottom of the propshaft, and bottom of the differental with some sort of black paint at Zebrugge. Not the traditional tar type stuff. Chassis is just primer.
Really is pants.

No, but then if you take a look at here: http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5... and read mkfork's posts as he's in the process of getting it done by Ford, see if you'd let Ford do it for free...
Go to Modurstang and get them to carry out the underseal they use far more robust materials similar to bedliner material. Speak to very helpful Mike at Modurstang he'll guide you. The process takes about 8 hours and the underseal will be dry when they've finished, they will even do it while you wait as long as you've made an appointment. I've driven from North Wales to get this job done right. Not a job for a Ford dealer, who use inferior materials. My car is also in for other customizing which will include painting the side skirts, front chin, rear diffuser, grills and door mirrors in gloss black to match the roof. These guys do a great paint job and come highly recommended.
