Cue Podie............!

After fitting the Chim alloys, my shiny nuts are not long enough!! I imagine I need to order the Chim ones which are longer, so will speak to Jeremy to find out?

In the meantime if anyone is after a set, let me know or I will be sticking them on Ebay when I get the new set!

How can they be too short

They are a blind nut, which screw onto a stud so unless the wheel is much thinner surely they must fit

They fit in that I can bolt the wheels to the car, but the 8 spoke OZ alloys are more dished than the Chims alloys! Which effectively means they cant be seen as they are way back in the hole!

So if I've got this right.... the screwy bit is long and does what it's suppossed to........ but the shiny heads aint big enough to stick out of the wheel.

Sorry guys,
After speaking to penny (Mrs BC) it appears that they are the only ones they sell, which is strange! Jeremy is away so will speak to him when he gets back and see if he has any plans to make longer ones!

I've just ordered a set from R T Racing in Sheffield (4 locking nuts and 12 standard) all for £40 + VAT. I will try and post before & after pics when I get them fitted if anyone is interested.

Hi Steve, be interested to see what they look like, are they Stainless Steel? Seem cheap if they are!

Hi Mike

At that price I would doubt if they are stainless steel, more likely to be BZP. They quote "corrosion resistant" on their web site. I will update when they arrive.
