God. I remember leg-warmers. Weren't they ridiculous?

Errrm. I also remember the fact that they were so prevalent that the girl on the cover of the mag on the top shelf always seemed to have them on...and little else.

Oh dear, I must be old, I remember my younger sister being into most of that.

As alzheimers is obviously setting in already (and affecting my ability to spell), where does 'My wings are like a shield of steel' come from?
