Sunday 20th March
You are invited to a Gorge Rumble and celebration at the inaugural meeting of the TVRCC Bristol Region at its new venue, the Bungalow Inn near Bristol Airport.

TVRs are expected from all over the South West and will converge on Cheddar Gorge at 1pm. There are a lot of superb roads in this area and we fully expect them to be enjoyed during the morning.

After the obligatory mass engine start inside the oil-drum acoustics of Cheddar Gorge we will convoy to our excellent new venue which describes itself as “the Disneyland of Country Pubs”; if you like your toys then this is the pub for you! At the Bungalow Inn we have laid on a buffet and inter-region skittles match. Also, there will also be a trial run of the Le Mans Scalectrix set which will be set up on the stage at the front of our fantastic function room.

The more the merrier, but obviously we’d appreciate a rough idea of numbers – even if you are coming in your euro box you will be more than welcome but a courteous email or a post in this thread would be appreciated – Ta, Nacnud and the Mendip Monster

Edited to add the date - DOH!

Any ideas on the numbers coming from D&C and Somerset.as Mr Nuds has said, we need a rough ide to arrange the Buffet, or we may have to limit you all to a chip each

Considering I live 5 minutes from the Gorge it'd be rude not to pop along for a I might even have the Tiger back on the road by then so can add some twin weber music to the proceedings However it's not taxed at the moment and is sans radiator. Best spend the weekend in the garage me thinks!

Just wonder how this will go down. I have been a TVR member for a good six months, but I have an Alpine GTA currently (well it's plastic and has a big engine).

How will it go down, or should I come in the Mondeo?

Really don't want to miss this one.

Sure - come along to watch; should be quite a sight!

Alpine's are very welcome. They were compared against the SEAC in one of the main car mags a few years ago and are also quirky but potent beasts

Just one thing please...
If we have a line up of Tivs looking for a photo opportunity, if you could be courteous and park discreetly then that would be appreciated.
It'll make our lives much easier as we'll be looking for a club mag feature out of this and the club mag prefers photos without other marques in the middle of the line - Ta

Kitt - I was thinking just the same thing, so it would be nice to see another 7 there (weather permitting). Be nice to meet in person too.

Are non-TVRCC members welcome to tag along?
