So i'm a big fan of the trend of black / rose combo such as the few here:

I'd like to try out the 'look' before committing such a large amount (I'd have to sell a bunch of other watches to get one).

Something under 250 quid would be ideal, obviously not fakes, but homages would be suitable. Or something else along this theme.

Any ideas?

Mate bought this Oris for about £900 so might be out of budget but you'd expect it to retain a bit of value when you come to sell, he bought it second hand off the bay.

If you just fancy something cheap to try, how about a Boluva? They do a load of sub £500 ones in rose and black, when my mate was looking for his Oris it was trying on a similar Boluva in the canaries that made him search it out.

The old Rotary Editions range springs to mind. Think they're now discontinued but there's still this:

Seiko do/did a gold diver (the SRP500K1) but you might struggle to find one: http://www.creationwatches.com/products/seiko-dive...

Bulovas are a good shout too, they do lots of rose gold type ones.

The Rotary Editions are rather nice, very Richard Mille, I have a one of each of these, but a bit too bling for my taste but nice to wear as a statement piece on a night out.
