Of course I have.

Usually at night when I'm in the Porker. Frequently I see them in the mirror with an intermittent blue glow. Normally only for a few seconds though (they must be always be going in a different direction).

Hey Brian,

I don't know about you, but when I was a kid my parents always told me not to speak to strangers. So obviously I'm not going to hang about below the speed limit when I'm obviously being chased by aliens in a UFO!!

(Not watching the Xfiles again, gives me silly ideas which may get me in trouble one day)

Daz, you don't live near Area 51 do you - or have you seen Men in Black / Boys in Blue?

Must admit, best to keep away from anything with blue flashing lights, you wouldn't want to be abducted would you!

Yes I live just outside Area 51 of the Blairdom of England. Used to be known as Bristol.

Aww go on matt.

My personaly take on 'little green men' is that it's complete boll*cks. However I'm pretty open to the 'military secrets' angle (i.e. that secret test projects are seen by the public and categorised as UFO's for the sake of national security..)

Well, I am working at home today - that's why I am being distracted by PH instead of actually doing some work!

OK then... about 11pm ish I was driving along the A30 across bodmin moor one night about 10 years ago.

Its a cloudy night with a fairly low cloudbase and I'm driving along minding my own business.. next thing I know I can see swirling red and blue light, lighting up the underside of the clouds, alomst as if there was a police car 50ft underneath them, (a bit hard to explain).. anyway the source of these lights was visible, but obscure.. almost like you knew you were looking at it but you couldn't quite see it.. it was just a patch of air with a kind of glow about it, that was stationary below the cloudbase.. after a few seconds it just moved away at speed and dissapeared.

Now I'm a born sceptic, but knew that section of the moor very well, especially the fact that there were no roads there, no houses, just the occaisional sheep.. and as for it being a known flying object, well there was no noise I could hear and the motion didn't resemble anything I have seen, also the fact I couldn't really see the object was also a bit wierd.. (yes it was night, but there was still light in the sky)

..and no, I wasn't "on" anything at the time....

Cheers
Matt.

Excellent Matt. Couldn't have been lights on top of a radio mast or something then - none around there? Do you have any other explanations?
