I remember the one with the uncle who had had all the most terrible diseases ("just a little bout of bubonic plague"), and died of the common cold or something. And indeed also the handle of the spear and jackson #3 that came off...

that is a legendary episode. I've watched it so many times it's not so funny any more - I sometimes wish that I could go back to watching it for the first time. I guess it wouldn't be as funny if you didn't go to public school.

The Northen one with the boring guy is very funny to begin with, but loses it towards the end. I love the bit when his dad speaks French

Ah yes, I bought the set a few weeks ago in Virgin - it was about £12. The schooldays one is by far the funniest, and th one about the war hero is good. I'm trying to ration myself though so I don't get bored of them.

How many did I get wrong and how many did I miss out?

I really didn't like The Curse Of The Claw when I was a kid. Really disturbed me.

Really good series though.

Almost as good as Armchair Thrillers - anyone remember those?
