Buy the nicest one you can afford and enjoy... You will be able to trade it in with little or no loss and change for a different spec or upgrade it once you know what you want. if you want to be able to rag it On-road get less power, if you want to track it buy as much power as you like :-)
Irrespective of the power, handling and brakes will blow your mind if you've not driven one before and assist you in easily seeing off anything this side of a serious normal sports car (you'll weigh 1/3 most cars so you get similar performance as something with double or triple the power)
Go to you local dealer or club and try a few, try not to break your face grinning.
