Hi all.I need your help please. I want to buy a satnav that i can store multiple postcodes all in at once, and not by arriving location by location. Budget £100. Many thanks.

I am yet to use a Sat Nav that doesn't store your history or favorites.

Is that what you mean?

If you have a smart phone there are loads of good Sat Navs apps. HERE being one.

The Garmins store a list of 'favourites', multiples of same can be added to a 'route'.

You can add new 'favourites' just by entering postcodes.

If you're looking for the 'Travelling Salesman' or multi-drop feature where the sat nav computes the shortest distance between multiple drops and then sorts the route, (my) Garmin won't do it.

Has 'trip planner' so you can plan the route you want, rather than just shortest, quickest or most economical.

There's also another £11 off at checkout, so ends up at £99. It was £169 originally.

Older TomToms like my XL LIVE IQ Routes have an Itinerary function, whereby a number of places, can be entered to make a route and it will calculate time for the total time for the route. Each place can be either a waypoint (so you just go through it and the satnav carries on navigating to the next places, or they can be destinations where the satnav asked you if you want to start navigating to the next point. It works really well if you want to be able to plan your own route and just have the satnav guide you along it. I think you can still get the XL LIVe IQ Routes, and for less than £50

For some inexplicable reason this feature is not available on more recent (Go series) TomToms nor on the TomTom apps. Why?
