Man on Fire

Watched Man on Fire on Friday night and it was a breath of fresh air for all those fed up with PC crap.

All those who think a good response to criminals is to stuff a bomb up their a**e then press the detoner should give it a try.

It is also a gripping film and Denzel Washington is good-as always.

It's also a pretty gripping book (by AJ Quinell IIRC) which is a lot less "hollywood" at the end.

Great film! I didnt quite get the timeline though - it seems it was over a period of only a week or two?

on the dvd there is an alternate ending where denzel gets to 'the voice's ' house and the voice explains things to him, and just before he shoots denzel, he presses a button on his digital watch which starts to count down from 5 seconds, and the whole house goes up.....

i do prefer the one they used though

Saw it Saturday night as well. Thought it was very slow to start with, but the tension built beautifully towards the end.
