I have loads of favourites -
"Formula 1" - Text by Nigel Roebuck and paintings by Michael Turner.
"Moss - My Cars, My Career" - by Stirling Moss and Doug Nye
"All Arns and Elbows" - Innes Ireland
"The Derek Bennet Story" (as already mentioned) - it's just been reissued in time for Chevron's 40th anniversary.
"Chapman - The man and His Cars" by Jabby Crombac
"Colin Chapman, Wayward Genius" by Mike Lawrence.

my favourite motorsport read is 'Life at the Limit: Triumph and Tragedy in Formula One' by Sid Watkins. The man responsible for saving the lives of many racing drivers in his role as cheif medical officer for F1..
a great read, really funny anecdotes written by a very inteligent and astute man. read it in one go... never happened before or since!

"Rally Co-driving" by Phil Short is alright if a little dated. Gives novice co-drivers a good insight into what co-driving is about and how to get into it. Mind you, I don't agree with his "co-drivers should be whores" attitude when it comes to getting experience.
Conversely, I thought that both Richard Burns and Colin McRae's autobiographies sucked.

Some fantastic images both on track and in the pits. Grand Prix cars, sports cars, early World Land Speed record cars. Really nice.
