Digital television

Does anyone have trouble receiving the digital signal? eg, image freezing and pixelation? With a new ariel installed and a signal booster fitted Im very disappointed with the results. Im concerned when the analogue system is turned off im going to end up with an inferior system

I have this on a couple of channels since reconnecting my TV.
Check all cables are secure.
Used to get it a lot when we 1st got it and sometimes just turning it on and off worked.

I just check the cables, take them out, give them a wipe, put them back in and it's OK.

Then again, my housemate wired up a couple of speakers that bang and clatter like the Guns of Navarone whenever you turn it on or off, so I've got no idea how a TV with extras might affect the other electronics.

Turn off tthe "WHOLE" system for a minute the standy-by for 30 seconds then ON.

I get the same and have been meaning to find a thread I remembered appearing on here a few months back which told of the answer.

We sometimes get the blocky-ness, and jerky-ness with our sky box a bit too, sometimes the picture and sound totally freeze and you have to go up a channel then back down again to get it to work again. a call to sky may be needed me thinks!
