I'm so wasteful!

More lentil munching twaddle from the BBC.

Its a quiz to decide what your "Global Footprint" is, or what your personal environmental impact is I guess.
If everyone lived like me we would need 6.5 planets to live on . My personal global footprint is 11.7 Hectares and the average for the UK is 5.3 Hectares whereas there are only 1.8 Hectares each available globally.
Do I feel greedy? Nah!

24.8 for me...that includes the space to grow sufficient hops!
Got to dash to Sainsburys on my own in the Griffith to buy a couple of juicy Argentinian steaks, some green beans from Kenya, potatoes from Jersey and a box of Californian strawberries for dessert. I have left the sprinkler on to water my grass, which I cut earlier with my motor mower. It gives my 15 cats more chance to catch the few remaining birds. The grass looks nice this time of year, especially with the garden patio lights on. Last weekend one of our friends from Los Angeles called in to see us. He left his ASTRA jet at Stansted which was really convenient because he had to nip into Israel for a service.
On the way to Sainsburys I have to fill up the Griff with Super Unleaded petrol...luckily my other three cars are full-up because I heard there may be a fuel shortage?
After dinner, I may take Mrs Toffer to the local cinema 20 miles away, she will take her Audi A8, as she has to collect our laundry after the cinema.
The Audi is really economical for a 4.2 litre engine, probably due to the aluminium suspension?
I will take the Aston rather than the Griff to the cinema, as I am hoping to see my mates firework display after the film and it will be cold with the roof off...it seems a waste of energy running the heater with the roof off?
Scarily this is not far from the truth...
