Does anyone have one of these or similar? Cheapest I can find one for is 99GBP which is a lot of money just to be able to swap straps easily! I'm told for Rolex / Tudor bracelets this is the one to go for although I could save a bunch and use a Bergeon 6767f (albeit more fiddly). I like the idea of the tweezer type pliers however and may just bite the bullet and order one unless there is a cheapo version anyone can recommend?

Also I'm not sure if the 7825 would work on my Omega Seamaster too as it would be nice to get that on a leather strap?

I guess it depends on how rich/lucky you feel. Personally I'd stick with the cheaper Bergeon one and a bit more concentration, but I do it for a living and if you have OCD then one slip and the subsequent cost of polish might make it worthwhile for you to have an easier system.

There's no truly idiot-proof solution to things like this and though the 7825 looks to be about as idiot-resistant as possible, it still comes down to not slipping and applying concentration. I get the impression it was designed for technicians who spend all day stripping down watches in a service centre and thus increase production levels.

Thanks, that's really helpful. It is a lot to spend but if it will save me from scuffing up my Black Bay and Seamaster (plus I fancy getting a Speedy next) I can just about justify it to myself. The Tudor in prticular looks very easy to scratch and I am indeed OCD about stuff like that smile

I've got the 6767f and I've used it on a Sub/Datejust/ seiko 009/ JLC with no problems. If your paranoid about marking the watch then you could use masking tape.
God luck.

I managed to find a 7825 equivalent with good reviews on the Tudor/Rolex forums for 60 quid in the end so I'll report back with what it's like.. still a lot to pay for a fancy set of tweezers but you only live once I suppose!
