Few Abarth 500 SS questions
Discussion
Few questions chaps:
Cannot find anything in the history of my 2010 Abarth 500 for a cambelt change so best to get it done. Have been quoted £350 from my local indy for the work if the spark plugs are okay and £400 if they need replacing. I'm assuming new tensioners/waterpump in all this too, sound about on the money?
It's the SS version yet the log book still states it's a 1.4 135bhp. Should this not have changed to 160Bhp when the kit was added by the dealer?
And finally, radio reception is pretty crap are they all like that? If so any decent way of improving it?

I'm afraid I can't help on the cam belt question, but I had a 500ss new in about 2010 and apparently it was very difficult to get DVLA to change the registration documents. I had the certificate from abarth but didn't bother trying the process as the consensus on the forums was that you wouldn't be successful. As long as the insurance was notified and I had the certificate I figured it wouldn't matter too much. Great car by the way, I love the Abarths.
