So after the hectic first rd things should settle down for rd2 however Donny has been scenes to some mad driving and action.
First news is we down to 31 cars after dynamics pull there 3rd car for andy neate and the tbl is back in the hands of toca tbh not much of a loss.

With the first 3 races won by 3 different people will we see 3 different winners for rd 2. I think shedden will get his 2nd race win he seems to have the Honda nailed on and the car has gone well hear before. The longer faster nature of the track should prove good for aron smith in the Passat and both matt and Andrew in the ford focus. Also expect to see the bmw close to the front and think will win one race this weekend.

Im going for a Jordan pole and first race win with shedden taking the 2nd race win and a bmw in the reverse race draw.
The subarus could well get a top ten if things go well turks I think does have the upper hand atm with the rwd car over plato but both them and the team will start to make in roads into the place where they belong up the front.

here's a lot of racing on this weekend. BTCC, WRX, and the WEC, some chaps are having lunch in China and to top off the perfect storm the weather is supposed to be decent in cornwall land. How the hell am I going to park myself in front of a TV for the day? Any suggestions??

Should be a good weekend this weekend for pure motorsport.
Can't wait for Sunday, got a nice bonus courtesy of a mates boss as well which should make the day even better.

Well we are in for a stormer of a first race for tomorrow ash Sutton gets his first pole of the season followed by josh cook they improvemnets with the mg showing a good improvement over last year Jordan must be a bit miffed. Jackson 3rd with the focus followed by shedden, ingram, collard, smith so mg Honda/bmw/vw all in the top 8 with with goff/neal/hill making the top 10 meaning 5 different cars in the top 10 not bad going.

Looks to be a big gap difference between the field and the lack of power with the subarus showing but good effort for turks in 11th.

What's the deal with hunter abbotts constant light flashing when he is behind someone(as in if he is within sight of the car in front he is at it)?. Very bizarre, does he think this makes his car faster? It definitely didn't do him any favours in that race

My thoughts exactly, of maybe hes thinking the guy in front should pull over for him??

Nasty fire for Cole thou, I reckon that's his days racing over.

Race 1 thoughts;
- about time someone binned Collard a winner with this persistent off the start and off the track to make passes routine
- someone wanna buy Hunter Abbott a raincoat so he can become a proper flasher, alternatively tell him to wind his neck in
- shame for Dan Welch, a lot of the time his "bad luck" could be summed up as putting himself in daft positions where the inevitable will happen but in that one, he really was done over
- wow that would have been a scary one for James Cole, cracking job pulling it up next to the marshals post and props to the marshals as well, they were right on it

Decent race all round.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was thinking Abbot was making himself look daft. Flashing the lights kind of loses effectiveness if you do it all the time, even when you're miles behind the next car.

That really was a bit reckless from Simpson on Welch - hopefully just inexperience, and he'll learn his lesson. And I'll bet the BMR guys will now lose a bit of time checking over the other three cars to try to make sure that whatever happened to Cole doesn't happen again.

Only at Donington (and maybe Santa Pod) - freezing cold at times and I have sunburn....

Good day's racing though - I was a guest of one of the Renault Cup teams, which made the day even sweeter

3 really good races all round today, and been a bloody nice day to be at Donington as well.

The Subaru's look bloody quick through the corners, easily as quick as the 2 Honda's and Focii but have nothing in a straightline. The traffic jam behind Smith in race 3 proved that.

Generally good standard of driving through the field, even Alex Martin didn't try and kill anybody this week, but Kelvin Fletcher looks so out of his depth, even on the warm up laps he isn't moving the car around enough, accelerating and braking hard enough etc. Going off at Redgate in race 2 seemed inevitable.

Jordan was unlucky in race 2, bent rear suspension and a cracked intercooler stopped any progress he could've made.

Don't know what the crack is with Wookies Audi today but it looked slow everywhere, straight line it looked down on power and through the corners he just couldn't commit like the guys further up the order.
