Morris Guitars

Hi all,
I'm hoping that someone in the PH community can provide some information on 70s/80s Morris electric guitars. I know that Morris now make acoustics (of good quality apparently) but there's little on the internet about the old electrics. I recently bought this, cheaply, despite the fact it looks a bit of a plank and mostly because of the name (my surname):
It has all of the original hardware and pups, which sound fantastic. Once cleaned up (the fretboard looked as though it had never been cleaned), it looks good too.
I've learned that the guitars were made in Japan in the late 70s/early 80s by Moridaira, who also made guitars for well known brands, but I can find s*d all else. Anyone?
