Yep, the smaller later spoiler rather than the large, water catching, wavy job.
The small spoiler was an option on all Tuscan Mk2 Targas. It was never put on the Tuscan convertible because the designer thought it look OTT. The car is missing pepper pots on the indicator stalks however...TVR never supplied mine either despite paying £100 for them .glow worm said:

Every convertible I've seen, (not many) have this small spoiler, which for me looks great.
Black light surrounds also means built between Sept'05 and Jan'06. Very early ones like Pauls have a different hazard warning position on the dash. I ordered mine without the Bee sting aerial on the boot, but TVR were unable to build it without
With the larger spoiler, I would have thought the damp from 1 litre of water held in the well, would have caused micro blistering of the paintwork.

Is this first time ever a Tuscan has broken the £50K price.
First time to my knowledge for a 2nd/3rd hand one
I think I need to up my agreed value for low mileage convertible 4.5 Super Sport with new MBE ECU + extras to £65k

I'm surprised so many TVR owners shy away from an OTT option
I quiet like the larger spoiler as well, but each to his/her own. No doubt a very good car coming from STR8SIX, but who would have thought 10 years on they would be more than they were when new.Faberge jewellery I will have to look that one up

While it's really nice, I question what mines worth, IMO it's as sorted if not more sorted, nicer colour, nicer interior. Granted it's a mk1 with more miles on the clock (but less on everything else) and a few years older, it does make me want to hang onto mine, or sell it for 50 grand

Never noticed that before

I know what you mean.
I've had my convertible resprayed and re-trimmed throughout last year.
Various other upgrades has it looking like new.
I don't know what mines worth now but I only paid 24k back in 2009

Having said that she's on 70k miles now with another 4k planned for this years Euro holiday.
My Tuscan puts smiles on my face for a number of reasons.

Its value is way down the list but it still contributes.
It's not so much a question of what my cars are worth, but how much would it cost to replace "like for like" in the event that one was a write-off. With prices going up at this rate, time to get new agreed replacement values on insurance policies. Just up'ed my Chim to £26k on renewal.
