Another watch post by me today... I own this watch (it's not me selling it btw!) and really like it - it gets a lot of comments and then surprise that it is in fact a lowly Casio. However, I found someone on eBay selling it for £1500 ono. Is this just pie in the sky or are these likely to be worth more as they go on?? It was their flagship model for a while and I heard a rumour that only 500 were ever made, although I find that hard to believe.

Any thoughts? See http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272184245926?_trksid=p20...

In fairness to the OP, the other watches listed on eBay are the EQW-A1200DB-1AER variant, whereas the OP has posted a link to the EQW-A1200RB-1AER, which has blue accents across the watch.

That said, optimistic price is optimistic ... It's not worth £1500. Limited production numbers mean very little too, unless the manufacturer is Rolex, VC, PP, AP etc. In fact, TAG Heuer limited editions have been known to plummet in terms of second hand price!

If you don't mind the DR red accented model, a new one can be bought for c.£450. The RRP for the 'RB' was approximately £650. However it sounds as though you like your RB, so I'd continue to enjoy wearing it! smile

ETA: New 'RB' models were being sold for £350 here (Click link and scroll down): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Casio-Edifice-Mens-Chron...
