Any local 'sympathetic' MOT stations?

Specifically someone that would turn a blind eye to US lights?

The Corvette's indicators and tail lights are one and the same which means with lights on when you indicate one of your tail lights starts flashing. Standard in the States, automatic MOT failure over here. The car's been on the roads over here for 15 years, so I'm assuming there are people that are ok with it.

I have last years MOT which has the telephone number on the authentication stamp...you think I could ring up and ask outright?

IMHO if you ring up it might appear that you're trying to do it on the dodge or trying to mystery shop them. better to turn up and hope I should think

I'd take it to the last people that passed it. They passed it before, they should pass it again, or at least know how to get it to pass.

That was my first thought, but I don't know if they passed it as a favour to the previous owner or what. I've just had a call from the previous owner though, he wants me to call him tonight when he's back from work. He says he can get it sorted. Whatever that means.

Hopefully it should be sorted by tomrrow. Just as well since it's on ebay advertised with 12 month MOT!
