Twice yesterday I posted up a thread regarding an old Seamaster and both times they were removed with the reason 'what's it worth threads are not allowed'

Strange, I've read dozens of what's it worth threads, there's even one on the same page regarding a piece of masonic jewellery.

Over zealous modding?

Saw one of them and must admit I didn't read it as a "what's it worth" because you weren't asking for a value, just whether it might have any value. I did try to offer you a tenner + post for it but the thread disappeared as I posted frown

This link is obviously out of date, and no guarantee they got the asking price, but might help to answer your query in a "yes / no" sort of way (and show how absurd my offer is before you take me up on it :P ):

Thanks for both of your replies smile

I certainly wasn't asking for a valuation, it's not even my watch nor one I was contemplating buying.
