I have been a complete numpty and managed to snap the rotary controller for the MMI in my A1. Would anyone know whether it is possible to replace the button and associated wiring or am I looking at a huge bill for a complete new unit? Thanks.

You can replace the cosmetic bit of the dial but the units are supplied complete. If you can find a scrap one it's probably just a case of patience to swap out the broken bits.

You might be able to find a dead one on ebay or speak with someone like Hazzydayz.

Thank you. Its actually the connection behind the button rather than the button itself that has snapped. Will investigate replacements. Would these units have a code or would it be a simple plug and play job?

Did you find a solution to your problem? I think I have the same problem and hope to find and replace the transparent plastic ring in your foto.
I hope to hear your solution begcause I haven’t found mine yet.
