is there an off-the-shelf aftermarket seat that will fit the elise?

the standard one isn't the best for me as i'm quite slim so slide about in it a wee bit and just below the inflatable lumbar bit (where there's not much padding) it hurts my back.

i've looked through demon tweeks and there's plenty of seats but don't know if they'd fit the elise for size or for mounts.

(cobra seats usually fit me quite well)

you could try fitting a CG Lock to the seat belt....got one the other week from Ragtop and it holds you firm in the seat. Search for the thread on here.

think i'd rather get something a bit better shaped for me. I'd only be replacing the driver's seat if that makes any difference for space?

The original factory S1 135S came with Corbeau (I think) seats.

I will have a look at the manual and let you know.

Part number A111V6034S - Drivers seat
Part Number A111V0297J - Fitting kit
Part Number A111V6035S - Passenger Seat
Part number A111V0014F - Mounting frame.

You can get your seats retrimed by corbeau or lotus trim shop to your exact specification.

Have the same problem myself - bought a lumbar cushion from Argos (£12) for the moment.

There are few aftermarket seats that will fit the Elise - but most are too big.

Choices are:

Corbeau - "motorsport" seats that came with the 135R
Corbeau - New "LE" seats. Not on their web site yet but they are available.
Take a look at: http://forums.seloc.org/viewthread.php?tid=41697 for info & pictures.

Also:

Reverie - http://forums.seloc.org/viewthread.php?tid=41523 or www.hangar111.com

Elise-shop - http://forums.seloc.org/viewthread.php?tid=34575

Elise Parts - www.eliseparts.com/

Retrim originals / 340R seats etc.

I think a lot of these will be at the Donnington show on the 19th March. I'm planning to go along and try a few.
