...What would one replace a TVR Chimaera 400 with

I enjoy my Chim and don't think I will sell for quite a while. But, as we all do, I've been thinking.

I don't need practicality so two seats/ little space is fine. I would draw the line at a Caterham type car etc.
given a budget of say 5k with the Chim, what would you go for?

My immediate thoughts are:

Another TVR - most probably a Tuscan (not within budget)
Elise/VX
C5 Corvette

What would you go for?

When I bought the Trev I was considering an E46 M3.
The M5, although bigger and more powerful, is a similar type of car. I ultimately decided the Chim was more interesting/exciting.

I like your thinking though - what do you replace a V8 with? A V10 of course :-)

so roll me further bitch

Tuscan, do it. I had a chim 400 then a chim 450, nothing comes close to a tuscan for less than 20k
