2005 Impreza wagon Saloon arched

a few years back I was on the hunt for a new daily drive, I was missing my motorbike and was fed up of the 1ltr corsa I was driving at the time. I'd always liked the evo's but at the time I needed something that I could ferry the dogs about so an estate was decided on but still wanting some power I looked at a few options. Bee mets, Audi, Vw but none were taking my fancy then I stumbled upon a Impreza wagon at a local dealer It wasn't perfect, some poor car park dents repairs were visible through the paint but it was local and was reasonably price considering it had the PPP package aswell. So with a little bit of the asking price knocked off a deal was done. The car was brilliant, love it from the day I bought it, but unfortunately a couple of years later I had a bit of a mishap at some newly installed traffic lights.
The car was still a daily drive at this point and was told with the damage the chances were high of it being written off =( so thought about it over the weekend and decided to have a go doing the repairs myself. With such a short time frame to repair the car I couldn't find wagon the required wagon wings etc but found a saloon being broken locally. So a few days later she was back on the road sporting the saloon front wings and bumper
Wasn't to bad a job, it required the front panel etc due to the damage but the repairs came in for the same money as my excess. Whilst looking for the parts I found a build log from an American forum with a wagon being fitted with saloon rear quarters giving the full saloon wide arch look, I was soon on the phone to the bloke whom I got the front end from and agreed to but the rear quarters
Anyway I'll let the pics do the explaining now.








And a couple of weeks ago she finally looked like a car again


Just got a few bit of trim to refit now, the rear arch trims have now been fitted since the last photo but overall I'm really happy with the result. Was hoping it to look like it should have come from the factory like it.

Hells supertones, not usually one for things that stand out but didn't fancy putting the rusty horns back on.

Was quite supposed actually aswell with the amount of corrosion on the front cross member once stripped down. If anyone has an Impreza keep a eye on it.
