this is my first post so hi to you all!!

i have a fezzer 360 that i use as a hire car. i am looking to put a tracker on it, but i would also like it to record top speeds that the car has done whilst it was out and maybe any other info to stop the customer abusing the car...eg hamering the rear tyres by doing burnouts etc

obviously i would like to get this sorted as cheaply as poss so if it means fitting 2 seperate units to do different jobs or whatever i am open to all ideas

cheers

Out of interest, what would you do if a customer returned the car and you could prove he'd done a burnout in it?

I don't know of any product that would record that sort of information and to be honest, I don't think it'd be in your interest to do it. You might not get many customers......word WILL get out - it always does.

I have emailed you details of a system that can do what you are after and more.

It can be used on any vehicle and can be viewed live.

You could offer a print-out to your customers! Make a positive out of it.

Hi,

I wonder if you could answer me a question - from the hirers perspective.

I'm really keen to rent some exotica (as part of a 'once in a lifetime holiday' in the US over christmas), but also fairly soon in the UK. However, something concerns me.

Obviously I will be responsible for damage and unreasonable wear and tear - which is fine - BUT what happens if say the clutch goes? This could have been building up over previous 'lends' but finally bit the bullet while I had it? Would it be a case of 'tough luck' bye bye damage deposit, or would they download ECU data and only charge me if I had been abusing it?

Thanks in advance

Can't comment from a performance recording point of view, but when I was doing the TVR hire hire, we had Tracker Horizons installed on all of them

TBH, it was more of an insurance requirement...
