Had this in a drawer until recently, action had seized and the 15 minute timer hand had fallen off, quick service by the local watchmaker and she's ticking like a charm.

Luftwaffe cockpit clock from WW2, possibly from a Bf109

Presumably giving rise to the phrase "achtung, Spitfires at 12 o'clock".

Just a quick update on the Lufwaffe clock

My bro-in-law made a walnut desk stand for me in his workshop, I've mounted the clock onto it with an acrylic surround sprayed with a colour that I think matches the typical instrument panel colour of the period

Thought that it was a mistake at the time. Was obviously wrong.

I have a Russian MIG 21 FISHBED - MOLNIA 81322

It has 2 time zones that can be set using the red button, the big clock for time, hours/minutes/seconds and the top clock minutes and hours, they can run as one or can be set to different times zones.

The bottom dial is a stopwatch elapsed time in minutes and seconds, set by the silver button, it can be stopped and restarted, or stopped and set to zero all with silver button.

This clock is the successor of the MIG-15’s Wostok, made by the brand Molnia.

It equipped practically all of the planes from the Pact of Warsaw during the Cold War. Although the dial is very similar to its antecessor’s the movement is completely different.

This one has two barrels that can be wound up for 3 days. It has 21 rubies, and like all Russian clocks it has inside heating.

It gives time, time of flight, second time zone and has a Chronograph.

Now takes pride of place in my truck.

Me too!
I think that if you like watches these have an irresistible appeal.

On an (almost) similar theme:

This is a work in progress, a clock for the shed. The clock and gauge are from a Fiat 127 Sport (my first car). The switch on the side is (I think) a heated rear window switch from a Fiat 128, and will control for the back lights when it's all wired up (running from a 12V PSU). I need to wire a resistor across the sensor wire for the pressure gauge to show roughly correct oil pressure, I don't want it showing no pressure at all. And if it all works as planned I'll eventually transfer it to a smaller/nicer case.
