As the title suggests I need to know the dimension of the mustang with the mirrors folded.
The spec sheet gives the overall width as 2080 cm what is it with the mirrors folded is it any less?
I would like to know if it will fit between the runners of my garage door don't want to have to change my doors if I don't need to.

I had to fold my mirrors to get into my garage. Took 10 minutes to drive in and 20 minutes to drive out. Never again.

Width inc mirrors (mm) 2080
Width inc mirrors 6' 10"
Width ex mirrors (mm) 1916
Width ex mirrors 6' 3"
Width folded mirrors (mm) 1956
Width folded mirrors 6' 5"
Difference Folded (mm) 124
Difference Folded 4.8"

In the Mustang if you right on the width limit to get through the garage door with mirrors folded then there is only 1" each side before you are scraping the bodywork and soon or later it will happen. The front and rear wheel arches are huge and a long way from the driver seat and it is very difficult to reverse without mirrors.

My garage is big inside but when I built it I put standard doors on as have OCD about both doors being same size. Garage is ready for car and should fit through doors. Mirror really helps getting other car in/out of garage.

Was £130 delivered from local window company if that's any use to you.

Tip: If you are parallel parking outside a shop window then watch in the shop window as you reverse close to the other cars
