A slightly 911r related question .

Is it true on 991 cars (rs or gt3) when you delete pcm you actually only save about 5pounds in weight because the speakers have to stay in for something to do with the alarm and there's no amp if you don't upgrade the system . Anyone able to clarify this? I'm ashamed to say my beards not long enough for this question

If it is similar to the 991 RS, by optioning the PCM it automatically ties up with Sound Package Plus - a 9 speaker system. Not sure on the weight difference versus without PCM but there will stll be 2/4 speakers for internal buzzers, etc.

The lithium battery is a good weight saving, standard one is 24 kgs vs 10kgs for lithium. Cheapest way to save weight short of going on extreme diet.

Good to know re the 991 . Thanks , always wondered this . The Americans say even deleting it keeps the speakers so it must be really minimal
