Totally neutral as far as the Premiership is concerned, I support Exeter City!

Seems the "top five" don't wanna play anymore and are going to scrweam and scrweam until they are sick!

Seriously, this 'Super League' nonsense has risen its ugly head every few years since the Premiership and now the thought that Spurs and Leicester will probably make it into the Champions League has them digging it back up again.
One day it will happen and I'm quite sure Sky or BT will pay stupid money for the rights. I would really hope that most UK fans would consider it a step too far and not cough up for it but I'm guessing the huge South East Asian market would so it would probably survive & flourish.

I'd suggest that this some kind of veiled threat to someone but I'm not quite sure who? If one was of the tinfoil wearing brigade it might be interesting to see how referees decisions go for Leicester in the next ten games....

Not really neutral. I really, really want Leicester to win it!smile

I can't see the supporters of those 5 clubs wanting this. It's all about money and not football. The five would not be in the League Cup, nor the FA Cup, and the Champions League would not exist, so if you lose your first 3 games of the season, your season's as good as over. Too many meaningless games with nothing riding on it, and high costs of watching your team away from home. Can't see the attraction other than a few owners making £££

If this happens then the very essence of SPORT would be completely eroded.
I mean, why support any team outside the traditional 'top five'?
What would be the point?

Then again, why should we be surprised at this - a 'sport' that 'voted' for Qatar to host a World Cup?

Come on Foxes!

I'm an LFC fan. If we go into this new super league I won't be following. I'll happily be labelled a turn coat & go and support my local team (Charlton, don't ask why i support LFC). Ludicrous proposition.
