Service woes

Service indicator on the RR flashes up 'service required', the service isn't due until July so I try to book it in with Stratstones Mayfair to take a look. No dice, the only service center is in Hainault! So If you buy a car in central London with Stratstone, apparently the only place to get it serviced is Essex, amazing!

Any reason why it has to serviced by Stratstone? Must be other LR service centres in London.

Not really. Most main dealers in Central London (and increasingly further out) have satellite workshops, not just Stratstone/JLR.
Floor space in London is just too damn expensive and inaccessible for a decent workshop. Having delivered to the Hainault outpost and through central London, I know where I'd rather try and drive to.

Sure, but as I live in SW London driving to Hainault is a bit of a pain. In any event I've booked in with Lookers in Battersea, just a tad closer.
