Getting a high pitched warning buzzer when I turn the car on, it goes off after a second or two. No other warning lights apart from the ice warning icon in current weather. Is this related or is it something else? The manual doesn't seem to mention warning buzzers! Has anyone else had this?

yep when the temp drops below 3 deg's the buzzer goes off . to warn you of the temp and conditions.
it could also be the fact you dont have your seatbelt on. (which sounds like a light aircraft warning sound when you are about to stall !)

Thanks, its not the seatbelt one, must be the ice warning - good to know it is nothing serious.

I have never seen a car (or a car manual for that matter) with so many warnings for use!

My particular favourite from the manual is "Do not bring naked flames or lit cigarettes close to the filler: risk of fire". You don't say?

Just remember they ship them to America. So they have to spoon feed them a bit

The worst bit about the buzzer is when your driving cos it takes a second for you to realise it's just cold out So no panic.

Cant imagine what the sound is for ASR total failure
