Afternoon all,

The evenings are getting slightly longer, the weather is a little bit better and i'm sure people have been busy working on varying bits of metal over the winter to want to come chat about it. As such, i'm proposing the first Kitchen Club meet on the 7th of March, 6pm onwards at the normal place - The Kitchen Club, Christchurch Golf Club, Riverside Ave, Bournemouth BH7 7ES.

I'll need to go check with the owners (have been chatting a bit with them over the winter) but it would be nice to get an idea of numbers leading up to it. Have also confirmed a pizza deal of £6.50 for any attendee of the meet - Huzzah! (the pizzas are gooooood).

Names & Cars below please:-

1. Bart - Ultima GTR
2. Mrs Bart - Maserati GranTurismo

Guys I am leaving from Salisbury around 6 ish, I keep hearing bad things about the A338 roadworks.

Is it better to come the back route, through Avon, Sopley, Burton etc?

Was a really nice (if very cold & dark) meet! Mind you, we all spent most of the night in doors eating & talking cars as it was so cold out!!

Mind you, i really enjoyed it & glad we're doing these again & earlier then usual! Lets hope it's hotter next month!

Didn't take many pics as it was way too dark & cold!!

Great pics as always Rob.

Thanks to those who came along, was a cold opener for the season. However, I think that's also the most social one ever - with everybody sitting down and enjoying a pizza and a catch up.

The Kitchen Club are keen to help us grow this with some promotion and other alternatives to the pizza deal, including a potential summer BBQ & Bar up on the overflow car park for the meet attendees. That could be quite interesting.

Bart,

Thanks for organising it was a great craic.

Great to meet you and your wife Martin (4200 masser). Perhaps catch up at Le Mans?

Nice pics Rob!

My brother and I really enjoyed this one. Good selection of cars and it was nice to sit down and have a proper chat with everyone. Thanks for organising it.

Shame my pizza took an hour to come out though! I think I ordered just after the big table had placed their order.

Nice pics Rob, despite the low light.

It was good to take the BMW to its first meet, and to give the TVR a much needed run out.

Looking forward to the next. A BBQ and a bar at the top car park would be a great idea.
