I've just spotted the above (and put my name down) - the postcode appears to be LE17 5QS and situated just the other side of the M1 to the north east of Lutterworth.

If anyone fancies joining me for a drive over, don't be shy and we'll find somewhere suitable to meet up and work out a scenic route to get there! biggrin

Unfortunately I'm away this weekend, otherwise I'd be there!

The preference would probably be (when I can find a road book from something I did a year or so ago) to probably go from the Motorcycle Museum and to track east avoiding the A5 and the urban areas staying on the back roads from Meriden with about a 34 mile route to get to the PHSS - the problem is that I've set myself up for this having done it before to Silverstone/Gaydon etc. and the guys who join me know I can plan a route, but Bruntingthorpe is a new one on me (as no one normally goes there just for a drive out!). If need be, I'll take a drive out in my new toy out on Friday once I have picked it up and test part of the route biggrin

B4102 from Meriden to Nuneaton is probably a good bet, I think the other option would be south of Coventry, then up the Fosse Way?

I was thinking of the first option - it also looks like it might be a little cold on Sunday from the forecast which might determine which way we go. 08.15 at the Museum?!

I don't think the timings have been announced for Sunday yet, but 8:15 should work.

It'll be the first run out of 2016 for the MR2 - not ideal on icy/gritted roads, but should be fun!

I'll be in am R56 Mini Cooper S (hopefully) and it will be my first time out properly in it, so patience might be the code word! See you on Sunday and remember your woolly hat thumbup

Annoyed I'm missing out on this one. I used to work at Bruntingthorpe, I know some fantastic roads around the area and a couple of nice pubs to stop off at for some lunch on the way back. The Grey Goose in Gilmorten is highly recommended. Plus its a nice little road to get to it.

Hi been on the forums a while but never been to a Sunday Service. What is it and do you have to be registered?

Park up, get breakfast, kick tyres etc. You do need to have registered for one of the available spaces.
