Pension Review - Advisor Recommendation Required

As I'm 53 this year I thought it timely to do a review of all my pension arrangements.

Can anyone recommend a good independent advisor in the Bourne, Lincolnshire area (PE10 0AB).

There is a free web based search service that will allow you to trace financial adviser firms in your area (www.unbiasedfinancialadvisors.co.uk/‎).

You can then check the results on the Register of firms on the Financial Conduct Authority website. ignore any firms that do not employ a "Pensions Transfer Specialist"

Having narrowed done your search look at your shortlisted firms websites and run a Google search for any customer reviews.

Looks like the site won't list IFAs - it just selects one for you. I put my postcode in and got an email saying a firm in Central London would be in touch!!

I'll do some other cross referencing on the FCA site with local google searches.
