Anyone tried Techart paddle-shift conversion?

Afternoon all.

I have a 991 GTS with the heated multifunction steering wheel and am thinking about having a Techart conversion done - get it covered in alcantara and have the buttons converted into paddles. Has anyone done this? The main thing I'm concerned about is the feel of the paddles. Techart talk a lot about 'special polymers' but basically they're plastic. Other option is just to get over myself and buy the sportdesign wheel, but I do like my heating and MF!

Any thoughts?
