£1,000 Toyota Mr2 Mk3 pre summer bargain!
Discussion
Morning everyone,
Thought I would share with you all a nice little pre summer bargain (in my eyes) that I picked up earlier this week.
It is nothing too exciting, but after a few days of driving it I am really enjoying it.
It is a 2000 Toyota Mr2 MK3 1.8, with 110,000 miles, accompanied with full service history!
Previous owner has spent a little bit of money of it with a stainless steel exhaust, colour coded hard top, team dynamics alloys (although not my taste so will be changing) & rear spoiler.
The car is in excellent condition for the age & after a trip up to the horse shoe pass yesterday I am really enjoying the car!
Havent had chance to get many decent pics so these will have to do for now.

Plans are to lower it 30mm all round, change the alloys and tyres (as it has budget on at the moment and it is a little twitchy!), change the interior for the leather seats, maybe induction kit as I have read they make a nice noise, and then just enjoy it for the summer!
Will keep the thread updated. Thanks for reading

Perhaps the OP should invest in a zoom lens?

Nice car OP, I don't know what you mean by 'nothing too exciting'. Supposedly they're great handling cars.

These are great cars, but I may be biased - the Horseshoe Pass was one of the first trips I did in mine too:

Is the stainless exhaust a full system? Or just cat back? The pre-cats can be troublesome on the earlier cars.

silly (little) money for what it is and can do.
At these prices they should be finding their way into people's garages as keepers.
