Anyone else ever checked the accuracy of the speedometer and odometer using GPS? I found that at an indicated 80 mph, it is overreading and the real speed is only 75.5 mph. Strangely, the odometer is wrong in the opposite direction. On a 126 mile trip it underread by about 10%, so this means that the car has done 10% more miles than I thought. I will of course retract this statement when I come to p/x it against a turbo at some point

I also have the same problem with the Ultima. The dials are VDO with the speed being accurate (+/- 0.5mph) at 40, 60, 80mph but the trip is approx 30% out, can't work this out. Also Domster you have been very quite- how were the sheep in Wales

I've found another inaccuracy. The manual says there are only 2 seats in the back yet I managed to squeeze in 4 birds on Friday night. Even more odd, leg room never seemed to be compromised

Jeez, UV, will you leave those hookers alone?

Honestly. One divorce plus annual bonus and you start trying to set a new Guiness World Record re accommodating ladies being accommodated in a Porsche 911

Didn't see any sheep in Wales, bluesatin - they must have been indoors with the welshmen at the time. Nice tunnel on the M4 though, much narrower than Hatfield - pity it's too far for a sortie.

Cheers
