What is the watch?
Discussion
Certainly looked like a vintage Daytona to me.
Does your friend actually like the watch or does she like it because of the wearer? Often with women, brand or wearer can be more important than the item.
IIRC John Simpson mentions his watch in his memoirs. I think it's an old Longines that belonged to his uncle.

My girlfriend actually likes the watch, oddly, she's after a Rolex to accompany her Colt Oceane and Seamaster 300M Mid Size.Does your friend actually like the watch or does she like it because of the wearer? Often with women, brand or wearer can be more important than the item.
