3200 fit front wheel in boot?
Discussion
Interesting question and although I haven't tried it the following may help:
The boot floor has a recess for the inflated spacesaver spare (4" wide), whether fitted or not, and will be the same diameter/rolling radius as the inflated fronts (8" wide) / rears (9.5" wide). The recess diameter should therefore accommodate either a front or rear inflated but due to increased width, part of the wheel/tyre will protruding into the usable boot space by up to approx 6". Also, the recess cover, which is both removable and hinged, would obviously not fit on top but is easily stored elaswhere.
So yes, I think it can be done but perhaps someone else can confirm having actually done it.
A far cry from my old 365BB where a punctured service rear had to be carried on the passenger's lap, but that's another story!!
