Its just like that here in Derbyshire too Ernest, just a few degrees cooler, but blue skies and sunshine. We havent had any weather yet this winter.

Uhh John, it started snowing about 3am in Norfolk, you must be in a really backward part

The snow has now stopped and we have clear blue sky even some sun

Have a bad feeling more snow on the way through

Its been beautiful in Derbyshire today although a little chilly, we have just got back from the BVI's where the temp was hot hot hot

blommin cold though - nearly froze getting our jacket spuds from the chap in the high street...

I was at work this afternoon at the Firecrest (London Road, Gt Missenden ish) and it was lovely and sunny all day

Having washed two cars this afternoon, also just outside Great Missery (Cryers Hill)and can confirm you are both right. It has been sunny but bloomin cold. I am now sitting dripping snot over my keyboard due to the resulting snuffles. (How the hell do you wash a car without getting wet?)

Bloody cold near Wellington, had some snow when out over the Quantocks earlier. Not settling though
