I quite like these, and am looking for a reasonable watch for work. What do people think of them, I like the one with the maroon dial probably on leather.

Are there better alternatives for £1500-£2000?

I absolutely love these! Especially with the red bezel. Well worth the money I reckon. I don't think it's a fully in-house movement (although I'm happy to be corrcted on that), but a modified ETA. No problems there at all. If I was looking for a watch in that price range it would be my first choice personally; uncommon with classic styling (love those snowflake hands!)

I had the Black Bay red for about a month. Really liked it when I tried it on in the shop on the bracelet. Bought it (used) on the leather and I didn't get on with the leather at all. It cheapened the watch for me. Much preferred the Pelagos I had.

Have you seen one in the flesh? I went into WOS when Tudor relaunched in the UK with the intention of buying one, but it did not "gel" in the flesh. There was nothing wrong with it as such, just something did not work for me.

Eterna Heritage Kontiki 1972, is a fantastic watch for £1500 ish, sort of has an in house movement also.

I like them and am considering one.

Thanks. I also need to see one in the flesh.

i have a Pelagos 25600TN and a Black Bay Red, I absolutely adore them both so would say go for it yes

Or perhaps go into a dealer and try one on, then if you still like it buy it online.

I have a Black Bay with the blue bezel (I prefer the white dial markings rather than gilt)

I love it. It's a fantastic thing. I'll probably get a Tudor North Flag next. I'm a big fan of these watches.
