Footwell carpet stud adhesive

So these studs have come off, they were fixed on using some black adhesive stuff on the female part of the stud, to the re skinned floor as part of the lotus fix. How do I get the old glue off and what is it I need to restick them?

Cheers, what about removing the old first, or just stick this over the old stuff?

Oh, that will be get hold of it and pull it off then!

Araldite worked for me.

Rivet them on, they won't budge then.

the old stuff lasted for many years, so I presume sticking them back on with this will too. Not got round to it yet, but I did buy the stuff.

Araldite or JB Weld works fine also, but make sure you clean the surfaces very well first.
